Crafted from Werregue palm fiber, carefully harvested and naturally dyed using fruits, roots, and plants from the region. Each piece is entirely handwoven by artisans of the Embera Wounaan community, belonging to the Puerto Pizario Indigenous Reserve in the Chocó department of Colombia.
The designs combine ancestral tradition with contemporary elements, incorporating materials such as 24-karat gold-plated bronze and enameled copper in some pieces, resulting in unique jewelry and decorative objects.
The Werregue palm used grows rapidly thanks to the climatic and geological conditions of Chocó, making it a renewable and sustainable natural resource that respects both the environment and the cultural heritage from which it originates.
